Our Accompanist

Krista Rhodes

A graduate of McMaster University and the University of Toronto, Krista Rhodes is a respected music educator and Vocal Music program director. She greatly enjoys working with children and is currently on the teaching faculty at the Hamilton Conservatory of the Arts where she teaches piano and has pioneered the extremely popular Glee Squad, based on the hit TV show. She is currently the accompanist for Hamilton’s Bach Elgar Choir and the world-renowned Canadian Orpheus Male Choir. Krista has appeared with the international award-winning Hamilton Children’s Choir, The Kingsway Choral Society, The Centenary Concert Series, and recently made her European recital debut.

Krista works with many professional singers and instrumentalists, voice studios, choral groups, music festivals, opera companies, and theatre groups as well as being an active teacher and solo performer. She is on the composing staff for HARPO television productions and enjoys working on various styles of freelance piano and orchestral compositions along with her husband, composer and producer, Glen Rhodes at their home studio in Ancaster, Ontario.
