The Legacy of Healey Willan - November 25, 2017@ 7.30pm
at Christ Church Cathedral, 252 James Street North, Hamilton. We open our concert season with a celebration of the music of Canada's greatest choral composer, Healey Willan, fifty years after his death. Willan's prodigious output is marked by an ethereal, haunting style and imbued with a deep mysticism.
Handel's Messiah - December 16, 2017 @ 7.30pm
at Melrose United Church, 86 Homewood Avenue, Hamilton. The great Bach Elgar tradition continues with Handel's seasonal classic, this year featuring guest conductor Howard Dyck. With a big chorus and full orchestra, we do Messiah proud! An uplifting, awe-inspiring, unmissable concert experience.
Sing Along Messiah - December 17 @ 2017, 3pm
at Melrose United Church, 86 Homewood Avenue, Hamilton. Join the members of the Bach Elgar Choir in an informal sing-along experience as we celebrate Handel's magnificent Messiah together.
Gilbert & Sullivan at the Cotton Factory - February 24, 2018 @ 7.30pm and February 25, 2018 @ 3pm
at the Cotton Factory, 270 Sherman Avenue North, Hamilton. A mix of choruses and arias from the operettas of Gilbert and Sullivan. A wonderful evening of madcap musical comedy.
Handel's Israel in Egypt - May 26, 2018 @ 8pm
at St. Thomas Church, 715 Centre Road, Waterdown The choral-orchestral event of the season in the Hamilton area. In combination with the Grand River Chorus of Brantford, the Bach Elgar Choir presents Handel's thrilling oratorio for double-choir. With grandiose choruses and extraordinary orchestral writing, retelling the story of Exodus, this monumental work is powerful and moving.
If you are unable to attend our Friday night performance in Waterdown, Bach Elgar Choir will be repeating this performance with Grand River Chorus in their hometown of Brantford. Please contact Grand River Chorus for tickets to this concert: email@example.com.

Tickets can also be purchased by contacting us by email at firstname.lastname@example.org by mail or from any chorister in advance of the concert, and are also available at the door on concert nights. Ticket Prices for 2017-18:
Please be advised that all tickets are for GENERAL SEATING in the pews at Melrose United Church or any venue and there are no assigned seats. We do recommend that you arrive at least 30 minutes prior to the start of the performance; patrons arriving only shortly before the start time may not be able to find seats of their choice.
Should you require special seating arrangements (e.g., to accommodate a large group or a wheelchair), please contact the Choral Administrator, Lynda Fraser, by e-mail at firstname.lastname@example.org AT LEAST 24HRS IN ADVANCE.
The box office will open 1.5hrs before the concert. If you have a copy of your tickets available at the concert, you can bypass the box office and show them directly to the ushers.
Ticket Refund Policy:
The Bach Elgar Choir cannot issue refunds for returned tickets. If the tickets are returned no less than 48 hours prior to the performance date, you may exchange them for a future concert or donate them to receive a charitable tax receipt.
For on-line ticket purchases, the request for refund must be received no less than 48 hours prior to the performance date. A tax receipt for the value of the ticket (exclusive of the ticket convenience fee) will be issued.
In the event of transportation closures or cancelled performances due to weather, fire or other unforeseen circumstances, Bach Elgar Choir will arrange a credit for future concert ticket purchases at no additional charge.
