On Friday, November 30th, 2012, the Bach Elgar Choir will present the second annual performance based upon Anne Tempelman-Kluit’s anthology Sleds, Sleighs, and Snow: A Canadian Christmas Carol. Performed together with stories which take us back through Canadian history, the choir sang seasonal works by such composers as Sirett, Hatfield, Patriquin and Britten, accompanied by Krista Rhodes on piano, Kathleen Gahagan on harp, and celtic band "House of Good Cheer".

After last year's performance, James McNiven of Ontario Arts Review wrote "... an extraordinary performance that was totally engaging and awe inspiring. I, for one, closed my eyes and wondered if the sound of angels in heaven could ever be so beautiful." Read more...
